Use a Holiday Theme
Use a Holiday Theme

Newsletter templates are an attractive way to catch the eye of your clientele. Don’t resort to sending plain text and losing their interest; make your newsletter catchy and appealing. Images, creative fonts, and attractive backgrounds, all serve the purpose of beautifying your message. Utilize themes so that you can save time and effort in selecting these details individually. Custom made themes are a great tool to use to meet your needs for the multiple looks and occasions that may arise for your newsletter.

Holiday themes are popular and a wonderful way to send timely messages that have the look and feel of the relevant holiday at the time.  Select the theme that you like the best – themes come with various color combinations for backgrounds and fonts.  Each combination will have its own included images.  Insert your text in the designated areas and create a message that is seasonal and pleasing to the eye.

Other themes exist that are not specific to the holidays, but more relevant for the look of your company in particular.  Themes range from those with a business look, with color combinations that may be sleek and corporate, to young and colorful themes targeted to a youthful target audience.

Don’t feel confined to the theme you have chosen!  Often themes can be customized so that you may choose one that suits you the most, but can make small modifications here and there of your own choice.  Perhaps you would like to change the font of the header, or the color of the text in the footer, or so on.  You have the liberty to do this even within a theme.  Even with these minor adjustments, a theme is still a very useful tool to have, because you are saved the trouble of designing many elements of a newsletter which would otherwise be a time consuming task.

One other advantage of using a theme is that you can match it to your company website, or at least create a look that is aligned with the image of your company.  This provides a consistency to all the material being sent from your end.  Perhaps it is as simple as choosing a color scheme or font that is part of your company’s logo.  This kind of approach would solidify the branding of your company’s image and create a mental association with the clientele that you are approaching.

Save yourself a bit of effort and leave the designing of your newsletter to template software – use a suitable pre-created theme to spice up your messages and entice your recipients to pass on the message to their friends!
